Urban Collage is the title of the artists residency workshop that will take place in the Kaimakli district, and the surrounding area of the Loukia & Michael Zampelas Art Museum in particular, adjacent to the buffer zone. The idea focuses on the significance and peculiarity of the area and how it can be experienced through the body of the artist in order to perform at the museum. The approach and the method of implementation consists of artistic research that includes a practical and theoretical framework around the title Urban Collage: Sensing space inside and outside the museum.

This title is based on the idea that the body, through the senses, can be used as a tool to collect empirical data and transmit opportunities
which can then be experienced by the viewer. The artists will work between the concepts of private and public and between the museum and the perimeter of the museum in order to familiarize themselves with the different realities surrounding their work, thus creating suggestions that are equally accessible to both public spaces and the museum space.

How can the everyday life and conventional way, in which space is used, together with the historicity of the location, be transformed into a new perception, and in fact a new reality and a new experience through performance, both for the artist and the viewer? In order to arrive at a response,
the body is used as a tool of formulating the psychophysical experience through live actions, so that the area can be experienced beyond the everyday.
